Tonies is growing its portfolio every month with a wealth of characters from books, films, TV, music, and other sources, creating a product that will entertain, educate and inspire children aged 3+.
The purpose of this role is to assist the team expanding the Tonies portfolio, ensuring there is a broad offering of content Tonies. The focus of the team is on local content, championing positive values, producing high quality, exceptional audio content, and increasing product awareness in the market through a diverse and high-performing portfolio. You’ll be a crucial part of a vibrant and exciting start-up already enjoying success in many markets.
YOUR TASKS:
- Help to manage and in some cases, own relationships with partners and potential partners
- Proactively ensure that the team is enabled to maintain all relationships exceptionally well, to the mutual benefit of tonies and our partners
- Recommend new potential licenses and opportunities, both from a content and property point of view
- Ensure information from partners such as style guides, track lists and assets are obtained, stored and disseminated appropriately
- Contribute creative ideas towards the creation of original content, scripts, stories, games, and songs
- Participate in and help to guide the creative development of figurines, content and the overall portfolio by contributing ideas based on research, experience and a data-driven approach
- Facilitate inter-departmental communication by owning the creation and sharing of updates and presentations
- Create and maintain presentations to licensors
- Participate in Portfolio meetings, document all information and decisions, and disseminate notes appropriately
- Track all key deadlines on projects and take responsibility for ensuring colleagues meet these deadlines
WHAT WE WISH FROM YOU:
- A passion for storytelling and audio
- Experience and / or an interest in licensing and product development, ideally in the toy field
- Basic knowledge of and affinity for the field of children’s radio/podcast/audio
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and problem-solve
- Ability to work independently in a team setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize
- effectively, and to meet deadlines with a sense of urgency
