National Account Manager Toys, Sports & Leisure required for MV

The Company

Tandem Group Trading (MV Sports & Leisure) are a market leader in wheeled & outdoor toys, sporting goods, e-mobility products, and bikes, working closely with the very best global property licensors such as Disney, W Bros, Marvel, Universal, Paramount, Hasbro, and Mattel.

We develop our products in the U.K (with an office and suppliers based in the Far East) and sell to over 30 ‘blue-chip’ National Accounts in the U.K including toy and cycle specialists, supermarkets, value chains, mixed multiples, on-line and omni-channel retailers.

The company is expanding its sales function and there is a need for an ambitious, dynamic, tenacious, and planned National Account Manager to grow existing National Accounts and develop new ones.

The Role

The successful candidate will be the main point of contact and responsible for a roster of current, new, and potential National Accounts, with a laser focus on developing sales and profit across the designated portfolio.

Reporting to the Head of Sales this position is a challenging and rewarding role where you get to be involved in selling licensed products based on kid’s favourite characters such as Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol, Spider-Man, Barbie, and Batman; not to mention our successful own- brands such as Hedstrom, Stunted, Kickmaster and Wired.

The Person

You will have had experience in selling to and managing major/independent retailers. An energetic and unflappable individual who loves the thrill (and thrives on the pressure of) building/maintaining relationships, presenting product and negotiating deals with major customers.

This is a great and rewarding opportunity for a planned, numerate, commercially minded and highly organised individual with an ability to conduct strategic sales objectives and exceed set targets.

As an important part of a collaborative and flexible sales department you will also need to be a trustworthy and persuasive team player which will enable you to galvanise the support of your colleagues and the wider business in making sure your goals and objectives are achieved.

Experience in selling toys, gifts, sports, and leisure products would be an advantage.

Attractive salary with a full benefits package including bonus, pension, and company car. Home based with regular office visits.
