Based in the Central Marketing Team, location Cheadle and is responsible for Brand plans and execution, portfolio and product management within the Jumbo Group portfolio. This can either be the launch of an invention, the adaptation of existing product (distribution) or an upgrade of packaging (redesign).

To achieve this goal, your functions will be the following:

• Focusing on Group categories Science and Infant, including local GALT branded ranges
• Working alongside group brand managers on initiating Long Term & Short Term brand & product strategy
• Planning the execution for the brand strategy for all markets
• Pro-active sales performance management & monitoring & redirecting when necessary
• Continuously initiating quality & assortment improvements
• Be responsible for launching deployment & follow-up
• Be responsible for product content together with Content manager, consistency & completeness: video & photo for comms materials, incl. approval of content
• Doing trainings on product
• Creating product market launch plans, incl. launch briefing, planning & forecasting & business case
• Initiating and approving on Central product projects/promotions (theme/financials), sell-outs
• Research: briefing & support qualitative & quantitative research for brand, product, etc

The knowledge you should bring to Jumbo Group to take our services to the next level is:

• University degree in marketing, business administration or any other related field
• Excellent project management skills
• +5 years career experience in a similar role and affinity with Jumbo Group products (knowledge of toy market is a plus)
• Capable of setting the right priorities and being able to manage a broad, sometimes complex agenda
• Creative mind: capable of creating product ideas or guide the product development team in a constructive way
• Be commercially minded; knowing what is important for a healthy company
• Have strong in communicating as a real centre person as you will be the spider in the web
