Well known across the UK toy trade, Alf Blohm is now available for discussions about his next senior commercial, interim or consultancy role across toys, gifting, nursery, seasonal and wider family consumer products.

Alf brings more than 20 years’ experience across toys, games, nursery, educational play, gifting, licensing, collectibles, arts & crafts, seasonal retail and family consumer products, with a career spanning Playmobil UK, LeapFrog Toys, Mothercare and most recently Head of UK Sales at Craze Toys, where Alf led early-stage UK market development for the brand, working across retailer engagement, distributor opportunities, account priorities and launch planning.

Alf is best known for his long career with Playmobil UK, where he held senior sales leadership roles across national accounts, independent retail, Amazon, Argos and wider UK commercial planning. During this time, he played a key role in developing major accounts, rebuilding customer confidence, strengthening account plans and contributing to sustained business growth.

His wider career also includes senior commercial experience with LeapFrog Toys and Mothercare, giving him broad knowledge across toys, nursery, educational play, family brands, independent retail, specialist retail and major national accounts.

Alf’s approach is based on trust, collaboration and clear commercial guardrails – a style that has helped him grow accounts, develop teams and build long-term trade relationships, many of which have endured for more than 20 years. He is particularly proud of the teams he has built and developed, with former colleagues describing him as a trusted, supportive and commercially clear leader who helped people progress in their own careers.

Alf is now open to senior commercial opportunities including Head of Sales, Sales Director, Commercial Director, Country Manager, Account Controller and Senior National Account Manager roles. He is also open to interim, project-based or consultancy assignments where his experience can help a business grow sustainably, strengthen customer relationships, improve account discipline or develop its UK market presence.
