Board Game Club made a welcome return to Soho’s Century Club last night, hosting a mindfulness special to kick off its 2025 season.
Providing a little oasis of calm in London’s busy Soho, the carefully selected menu contained a combination of well-known classics alongside quirky new titles, providing something for Board Game Club newbies and veterans alike. All games aimed to promote calm, positivity and connection with differing levels of gameplay.
Playtime PR’s Selina Dangerfield said: “It was fantastic to be back after a winter break. “We were curious to see the reaction to the mindfulness theme and menu, but we had a really positive response. We had the highest number of sign-ups for a Spring event that we possibly have ever had, and everyone who came along really engaged with the games on offer. It was lovely to see some of our BGC regulars whilst also welcoming a significant number of first-timers too, showing there is a strong appetite for board games out there alongside people seeking connection with others.”
The next BGC will take place in July, with more details to follow in due course.
