BPIA 2026 Industry Awards open for entries

Sponsored by TnP’s sister brand Nursery Today, the Baby Products Industry Association awards are now open

The Baby Products Industry Association (BPIA) has opened entries for its Industry Trade Awards 2026, sponsored by Toys n Playthings’ sister brand Nursery Today.

Renowned as one of the most respected accolades in the industry, the BPIA Awards stand apart by being judged not by consumers alone, but by a panel of highly experienced industry experts. Products are assessed for quality, safety, functionality, marketability and consumer desirability — offering meaningful recognition that resonates with retailers, buyers and industry decision-makers alike.

Since their inception, retailers and buyers have actively sought out products carrying the BPIA Awards logo (formerly the BANTAs) when selecting ranges, recognising the Awards as a trusted mark of industry endorsement.

Julie Milne, General Manager of the BPIA, said: “The BPIA Awards have long been respected and coveted by manufacturers and suppliers because they are judged by industry specialists with a wealth of hands-on experience. This year’s judging panel includes representatives from independent and multiple retailers, industry trade media, marketing specialists, and product safety experts across each category. With this breadth of expertise, we are confident the products recognised will represent genuine quality, value for money, and sound choices for parents and carers.”

Bringing additional purpose and impact to the Awards, the BPIA has partnered with Newlife, the charity dedicated to changing what it means to grow up with a disability in the UK. As part of the partnership, all shortlisted products submitted for judging will be donated directly to Newlife to support its vital fundraising efforts. Products will be processed to an agreed standard with branding removed, before being sold via the charity’s online store and 10 UK retail outlets at discounted prices — helping to raise crucial funds while giving products a meaningful second life.

Julie Milne added: “Many awards programmes are unable to return products due to the cost and logistics involved. By donating entered products to such a worthwhile cause, the BPIA Awards support corporate responsibility while adding tangible value for the companies entering.”
