Cobi has been recognised in the new money.pl Brands from Poland awards, celebrating the most influential brands and individuals from Poland
Cobi has been recognised in a new reward scheme launched by money.pl to honour and celebrate the most innovative and influential brands in Poland.
To mark its 25th anniversary, the editorial team at money.pl established the Brands from Poland awards. The programme honours brands and individuals who significantly contribute to shaping Poland’s image as a modern, dynamic, and innovative country with huge reputation worldwide.
“This is a reward for all my employees. The entire process – from design to production – takes place in Poland. We, as entrepreneurs, should do everything we can to put pressure on politicians and make it possible to maintain production in Europe”
Cobi was among the inaugural winners recognised for their contributions, and founder Robert Podles was awarded a laureate. The award was presented by Dame Melinda Simmons DCMG, the British Ambassador to Poland.
The money.pl award follows recognition for Podles in November, when he was named a winner of the Economic Award of the European Congress of SMEs
In collecting that award, Robert said: “This is a reward for all my employees. The entire process – from design to production – takes place in Poland. We, as entrepreneurs, should do everything we can to put pressure on politicians and make it possible to maintain production in Europe.”
Nearly 40 years since its founding, Cobi is today recognised globally for creating some of the most unique and detailed scaled brick models, with historical accuracy and design at their core. With its own plant in Mielec, Poland, it has expanded through an established global sales network covering nearly 50 countries.
