From timeless classics to modern icons, everything from Cabbage Patch Kids to Operation, Kerplunk and Tracy Island will be unpacked and played with by the celebrities. As they get their hands on, and play with, the toys that they loved and longed for as children, audiences will hear from toy buyers and experts, using classic archive, to explore the stories behind some of the biggest toy crazes of the last 200 years.

The TV show follows on from the retailer’s list of top 100 toys of all time, released back in the summer in celebration of its 265th anniversary. A celebration of past legends and present-day must-haves, the toys were hand-picked by Hamleys Toy Experts, from iconic classics that spark nostalgia to this year’s most exciting new finds.
