The annual Hasbro In The Community Charity Football & Netball Tournament returned last Friday under blue skies, with a brilliant turnout of players, sponsors and supporters all coming together to raise funds for the Toy Trust.
Hasbro told Toys n Playthings that the day was filled with great energy from the competitive matches and delicious BBQ to the fun, friendly atmosphere across both tournaments. Most importantly, the event raised over £8,000 for the Toy Trust, helping to support its vital work.
On the football pitch, the “veterans” that are Team Hasbro proved they’ve still got it, holding onto their champions’ crown. Generation Media gave them a real challenge to take second place, while Sky Media scooped the Plate with style. Over on the netball courts, the brilliantly coached Goliath Giants stormed to victory, with Sky Media once again securing runners-up.
