Operating profit soared 52% for the quarter, including US tariff refunds, as Magic: the Gathering delivers consecutive record revenue
Hasbro saw revenue increase 15 per cent year-on-year in its third quarter, with Wizards of the Coast and Digital Gaming continuing to deliver record results, up a combined 31 per cent.
Wizards’ performance was led by a consecutive record performance for Magic: The Gathering, up 34 per cent and topping $600m in quarterly revenue for the first time. It follows a strong Q2 for the TCG, when it broke the $500m mark for the first time.
The company’s Consumer Products (up 4%) and Entertainment (up 9%) units also saw strong growth. Operating profit was $517 million and adjusted operating profit was $541 million, a whopping 52 per cent increase on 2025 that the company said reflected topline momentum, favourable mix and cost productivity. Results include approximately $55 million of tariff refunds.
Chris Cocks, Hasbro Chief Executive Officer, said: “We delivered a fourth consecutive quarter of double-digit revenue growth, and Magic: The Gathering topped $600 million in quarterly revenue for the first time. Our asset-light licensing model lets great partners extend our brands while we focus on what we do best. With a Magic lineup that keeps building, we expect a strong finish to 2026 and continued growth in 2027.”
Gina Goetter, Hasbro Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, said: “Given this momentum, we are raising our 2026 outlook and doubling our share repurchase target for the year, balancing investment in the business with returning cash to shareholders.”
For the full year, Hasbro now expects revenue growth of 7-9 per cent in constant currency (previously forecast as 5-7% in constant currency), with adjusted operating margin of 27-28%, (previously 25-26%).
