Armorsaurs launches on Disney XD in the US this October with toys, lifestyle products, games, and digital extensions rolling out in 2026
MGA Entertainment has teamed with Disney Branded Television and Cake on a two-season deal for Armorsaurs, a new sci-fi action series and “multi-platform brand”.
The show will debut in the US on Disney XD 13 October, ahead of a global launch on Disney+ in February 2026. The series is based on a South Korean property launched in 2021, and sees action heroes piloting robot dinosaurs to fend off an alien invasion.
MGA Entertainment and CEO Isaac Larian took to LinkedIn to share the news.
“Building on MGA’s global toy and entertainment expertise, Armorsaurs is designed to grow into a multi-platform brand, with toys, lifestyle products, games, and digital extensions rolling out in 2026,” he said. “Based on the South Korean property Armored Saurus, the reimagined series combines live action, visual effects, and animation and follows five young pilots and their armored dinosaurs as they defend Earth against an alien race intent on rebuilding its prehistoric army.
“This marks a major step in MGA’s expansion as a global entertainment powerhouse, while delivering an action-packed family franchise tailor-made for licensing, retail, and cross-platform growth.”
