Nuremberg Game Inventors Convention returns for 2026

Spielwarenmesse confirms the return of its popular game designer event on 30 January 2026

Registration is now open for the Spielwarenmesse Game Inventors Convention, which returns for the fourth time in 2026.

On Friday 30 January 2026 the Game Inventors Convention will once more bring together inventors in the gaming scene with editors from publishers and agencies. Registration is open until 5 December at www.spielwarenmesse.de/en/gic.

The event will take place at the Brussels and Munich Halls and the foyer on Level 1 of NCC Mitte at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre, on the Friday of the international toy fair. From 9 am until 6 pm, games inventors will be presenting their innovative ideas and prototypes. Next year’s edition has already attracted a large number of international interest, with applicants from Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan and the UK.

The one-day event is rounded off with a collective networking party, the GamingHour, which runs until 10 pm. All participants have the opportunity to open up relaxed discussions, make new contacts and put new ideas to the test.
