Stormin’ Studios will distribute Orchard Toys across North America and support future product development in “important step” for UK firm’s international growth
Orchard Toys has signed a long-term North America distribution agreement with US firm Stormin’ Studios.
Under the licensed manufacturing and marketing agreement, Stormin’ Studios will distribute Orchard Toys’ educational games and jigsaw puzzles across the territory.
David Norman, CEO of Stormin’ Studios (pictured), said there is “significant potential” for the UK toy brand in America.
“We will be focused on building strong retail partnerships from launch,” he said. “Orchard Toys will be introduced to the trade at Spring Previews, and we have secured inventory of the best-selling lines for immediate shipment.”
The initial launch will comprise 18 product lines, tripling Orchard Toys’ current availability in the US market. Stormin’ Studios will also support future product development and the introduction of brand extensions within the territory.
