While at college with ADHD, Roy Steinberg aimed to create a fidget toy for himself that would help him focus during his lectures. The final product was the silent, smooth, and satisfying fidget toy called Pinchy.
Unlike disruptive fidget spinners that often cause more distraction than relief, Pinchy was designed with a clear purpose to quietly support focus, relieve stress, and aid emotional regulation in real-world environments like classrooms and homes.
“Parents often tell me they’re relieved to finally have a fidget toy that doesn’t add chaos to their home. The Pinchy is quiet, clean, and compact”
As a child, Roy had tried countless focus toys to ease his ADHD, but they tended to only make symptoms worse. Today, his own fidget toy solution has helped thousands of parents and educators support kids with ADHD, anxiety, or sensory needs, offering a safe and portable outlet for restless energy.
Roy Steinberg said: “Parents often tell me they’re relieved to finally have a fidget toy that doesn’t add chaos to their home. The Pinchy is quiet, clean, and compact. For kids with ADHD, anxiety, or sensory needs, it becomes a safe outlet for restless energy. And because it’s portable, it works great in cars, restaurants, waiting rooms, or homework time.”
The toys are sold online at the Pinchy website Etsy and TikTok Shop (@Pinchyfidget).
