Build Your Sky Trails is a new virtual experience that expands the reach of Playmobil’s Sky Trails system through the popular Roblox platform
Playmobil is bringing its modular track system Sky Trails to Roblox in an interactive digital experience.
With Sky Trails, Playmobil introduced one of its most innovative play systems to date – combining creative construction, motion, and adventure. The modular track system allows users to design and build elevated play worlds where vehicles glide smoothly through the air.
As a next step, Playmobil now brings the idea into the digital space with Build Your Sky Trails, a virtual experience on Roblox that translates the concept into a new dimension. Within their personal plots, players can construct digital versions of Sky Trails tracks and earn virtual currency (Sky Coins) that allows them to expand their creations with additional building elements.
A highlight of the experience is the opportunity to take on the role of a Sky Rider while riding the tracks they or other players have built – feeling the flow and seeing their designs come to life in motion.
The virtual world also features a Sky Trails Showroom, where users can explore the current collection of Sky Trails sets. In addition, players can complete a range of in-game challenges that unlock exclusive avatar items, including the full Sky Rider suit.
With Sky Trails, Playmobil is addressing a slightly older age group and expanding its play portfolio into new directions.
