Pokémon promo takes over The Entertainer

The first collaboration between the brand and retailer supports a broad roll out of Pokémon products in-store and online

The Pokémon Company International has taken over more than 150 The Entertainer stores for an electrifying late-summer holiday promotion — its first-ever partnership with the UK toy shop chain.

The activation includes branded bays, window displays, giveaways, social media activity and a website takeover, as well as special appearances by the beloved Pikachu in key stores, including Westfield White City, Bluewater, Kent and Bullring in Birmingham.

“We are delighted to join forces with The Entertainer for this exciting new activation where fans old and new can celebrate all things Pokémon,” said Mathieu Galante, senior licensing director EMEA, The Pokémon Company International. “With a host of much-loved Pokémon filling the space alongside fun activities, we hope to offer an inspiring and engaging experience for the many visitors to this prominent toy store chain.”

The activation coincides with a new collection of Pokémon products rolling out at The Entertainer, including items from Jazwares’ hugely popular toy line — such as Pokémon Battle Spinners and 8-inch Pokémon plush — as well as Funko’s Bitty Pop! Pokémon figures. Products are now available online and in-store.
