The Entertainer is bringing licenses it previously eschewed to stores, including Harry Potter, Stranger Things, Wicked, Pokémon and KPop Demon Hunters
The Entertainer is enacting its biggest range refresh to date with the introduction of more than 200 licensed toys tied to entertainment properties repudiated by its past owners.
They include global franchises such as Harry Potter, Stranger Things, Wicked, Pokémon and Netflix’s new hit KPop Demon Hunters. The business, which was recently transferred to an employee ownership trust by the founding Grant family, says it is “evolving its range to meet customer demand”.

Heather Robbins, Chief Commercial Officer of The Entertainer, said: “Adding Harry Potter, Stranger Things, Pokémon and other high-demand brands to our product portfolio represents an important step in the evolution of our business, catering increasingly for a wider age range and broader customer interests.
“The introduction of over 200 new products will help us meet increasing customer demand for collectables and novelties. This further strengthens our position as the UK’s most convenient and truly nationwide destination for toys, games and collectables accessible in malls, retail parks, high streets, supermarkets and online – whether delivered to home or via 30 minute click and collect.”
The products will be available nationwide across The Entertainer’s entire 160 UK-store estate, as well as its more than 1,000 concessions including Tesco and Matalan, as well as online.
