The latest release in the hit TCG launches in February, with Pixar characters making their debut in May’s Wilds Unknown set
Winterspell, the next set for the Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game, focuses on a flurry of winter fun activity when it blows into stores this February.
The set includes fan-favourite characters from Disney’s Pocahontas, Angel from Lilo & Stitch: The Series, and Darkwing Duck. Prerelease at local game stores and in Disney Stores begins on 13 February, and is released everywhere on 20 February.
“Wintertime is such a reminiscent theme for so many of us. Lots of people have fond memories of snowball fights, spending time with loved ones, or sipping hot cocoa, and we wanted to bring that feeling of cozy, winter fun to Winterspell,” said Naomi Kim, Product Manager at Ravensburger on Disney Lorcana TCG. “With these gorgeous cards, Illumineers will get the chance to experience flurries of fun around the table with friends and family – no snow required!”
Special Iconic cards with a papercut style art treatment for Winterspell include Moana – Curious Explorer and Pocahontas – Peacekeeper, with unique Frost foil effect on Enchanted cards.
“The craftsmanship that goes into each Disney Lorcana card is profoundly special,” said McKay Anderson, Art Director at Ravensburger on Disney Lorcana TCG. “Each piece of commissioned artwork and the game design and thoughtfully chosen and executed, so players and fans get an immersive game-playing experience each time they open a card pack and begin Questing.”

On the horizon comes Wilds Unknown, the next set releasing in spring that will feature the first Pixar characters, including those from Toy Story and The Incredibles. Fans can look forward to the debut of Wilds Unknown Prerelease Packs in game stores on the Ravensburger Play Hub starting 9 May, adding to the excitement. Wilds Unknown will be available everywhere on 15 May.
And coming this summer, a colossal threat will tower over the realm in Attack of the Vine!, welcoming Mike Wazowski and Sully, from Disney and Pixar’s Monsters Inc.
