Britains teams up with The BIG Sheep

Britains Big Sheep

Britains, Europe’s oldest specialist in agricultural toys and collectables, is celebrating its 100-year anniversary by teaming up with North Devon farming theme park The BIG Sheep.

Following a recent partnership with Rural Life Living Museum in Surrey, the toy brand has now collaborated with the Bideford-based attraction to create an experience to be enjoyed by the whole family.

The BIG Sheep features a series of thrilling rides and rollercoasters and is also full of agriculture-filled activities. For three months from 21August, visitors can enjoy the Britains-inspired toy trail, where seven Britains posters are hiding around the park for families to spot along the way. The Britains team has also designed a fun activity sheet to keep the children entertained throughout the day.

There’s plenty of photo opportunities available and visitors that upload their best snap with the special Britains photo frame to Facebook or Instagram will be in with a chance of winning over £100 worth of Britains Farm Toys, including Farm in a Box, JCB 6T Dumper, Land Rover Horse Playset and International Harvester Farmall 1066 Tractor.

Mary Wood, general manager UK and Ireland at Tomy, which supplies the Britains brand, said: “This centenary year is an incredible milestone for the Britains brand, which is why we have arranged partnerships to help us and our fans celebrate this landmark.

“While we have many avid collectors of the brand who have added to their vast collection of Britains products over the years, the brand is also iconic with today’s generation, which is why we have teamed up with The BIG Sheep to create an experience that can be enjoyed by the whole family.

Rick Turner, director of The Flock at The BIG Sheep said: “We are delighted to be collaborating with Britains to help mark their incredible 100-year anniversary. We have created a unique experience for farming friends and families that visit the venue and the added Britains surprises will provide even more excitement here at The BIG Sheep.”
