Stroud independent toy shop Ducklings has relocated and rebranded with a fresh new look and name: Pop & Pup Toy Shop. Clare Turner finds out more from director Josh Pattison
For Josh Pattison, toys aren’t just a business – they’re woven into the fabric of his life. His father Colin has spent decades in the industry.
Colin and his wife Janice decided to open Ducklings Toy Shop in the Wiltshire market town of Marlborough in 2011. Four years later, they launched a sister branch 12 miles away in Royal Wootton Bassett. Five years on, a third outlet opened in the Gloucestershire town of Stroud, followed in 2022 by Atomic Cards, a trading-card shop in Swindon.
