The new tickit lines inspire outdoor and nature-based learning and play patterns
Commotion have announced new product lines from its in-house brand, tickit. The trusted name in high-quality educational resources, has launched two new product lines perfect for outdoor play and nature-inspired learning. With a focus on sustainability, hands-on exploration, and child-led discovery, these new additions are ideal for parents and carers looking to bring learning outside.
Seasonal Gem Trees bring the four seasons to life through beautifully crafted wooden trees. Made from sustainable FSC-certified birch plywood, each tree is split into three interlocking pieces and includes laser-etched details and smooth, inset gems to represent seasonal features like blossom or fruit. Children can take apart and rebuild the 12-piece set, encouraging logic and dexterity, while sparking conversations about the natural world, weather, the roles of trees, and the environment.
The Safari Animal Layer Puzzle, meanwhile, introduces children to 10 wild animals through a multi-sensory, layered wooden puzzle. Crafted from FSC-certified birch plywood, with beautifully detailed chunky animal pieces, laser-etched and double-sided to stand upright for imaginative play. The middle outline layer can be used for drawing, colouring or filling with colourful rice or beads for an additional sensory exercise. Laser-etched skeletons inside the base tray provide an engaging introduction to biology, while encouraging matching, tracing, and language development through open-ended exploration of animals and habitats.
