Gibsons Games receives King’s Award for Enterprise

Gibsons Games has been honoured with a King’s Award for Enterprise for Sustainable Development.

Gibsons, one of 197 organisations nationally to be recognised with a prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise, is a 4th generation family business founded in 1919. It remains a small team based in Surrey, committed to bringing people together with the fun and joy of puzzles and games.

“This award is an incredible honour for Gibsons. It celebrates the ongoing efforts of our team, past and present”

Kate Gibson, Gibsons MD, said: “This award is an incredible honour for Gibsons. It celebrates the ongoing efforts of our team, past and present, who have shaped our sustainability model and prioritised how we can do business better. I couldn’t be prouder!”

The King’s Awards for Enterprise, previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, were renamed in 2023 to reflect His Majesty the King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth Il by recognising outstanding UK businesses. The Awards programme, now in its 59th year, is the most prestigious business award in the country, with successful businesses able to use the esteemed King’s Awards Emblem for the next five years.
