Less than a month remains to enter the 19th annual Independent Toy Awards, with gongs across 30 toy categories up for grabs
Toy and game companies have less than a month to enter their standout products into this year’s Independent Toy Awards, the 19th edition of one of the most trusted and retail-driven awards in the industry.
Entries close 4 August and the winners will be announced on 18 August. Entrants can submit their hero products to any of the 30 diverse categories ranging from action figures to wooden to electronic. New sensory and fidget categories have been launched to reflect the popularity of these products across so many companies’ ranges this year.
Unlike other awards, the Independent Toy Awards are decided by those who know toys best:hundreds of independent toy retailers. Once entries close, voting begins, and the independent retail community decides which products they believe are most likely to resonate with the toy-buying public. Gold, silver and bronze medals are up for grabs in each category, plus a commendation medal for any product that secures over 10 per cent of the votes but narrowly misses out on a top spot.
