Ahead of the launch of its Heartfuls dolls range this month, Kid Kreations has confirmed its support for Blue Smile, a children’s mental health charity providing arts-based therapy and support in schools across Cambridgeshire.
Heartfuls are the dolls that have been developed not only to have aesthetic appeal, with beautiful hair, vibrant outfits and huggable bodies, they also promote wellbeing through play. Each Heartfuls doll is characterised by a theme of positivity to encourage emotional growth, confidence, and self-expression in children.
Kid Kreations has long been committed to creating products that harness the power of play to inspire children and make a meaningful impact on their lives, and Heartfuls is the latest addition to the portfolio. Originally conceptualised by toy designer Rachel Godfroy, who identified a gap in the market for a toy line that could foster happy hearts and build essential skills of resilience, Heartfuls is the industry’s first MESH-accredited dolls range.
Blue Smile was put forward by Rachel whose daughter had benefitted first-hand from Blue Smile’s invaluable work. This was during a long period of mental health difficulties, and so she knew the charity’s work to be invaluable to children in the area.

The agreement will see Kid Kreations grant funding for Blue Smile, helping to finance its specialist mental health support in Cambridgeshire schools, including arts-based one-to-one therapy. Meanwhile, Blue Smile has shared its expertise and provided ideas for art and play activities that can support children’s emotional wellbeing. These will be available to download freely from heartfuls.co.uk.
