The hit Netflix movie comes to Spin Master’s Toca Boca World app later this month
Spin Master’s digital studio Toca Boca is bringing Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters into the Toca Boca World app this October, giving its close to 60 million players access to music and fashion inspired by HUNTR/X, the Saja Boys and other iconic characters from the movie.
Inspired by the film’s distinctive fashion and larger-than-life performances, the new game content brings together two dimensions of the world of Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters: everyday style and the energy of the K-pop stage. Players can mix and match both to create characters and stories to personalize their storytelling.
Music will be a key feature of the experience, with a new music player including four chart-topping songs from the film, How It’s Done, Golden, Soda Pop and Your Idol. For a limited time, players can use these songs as soundtracks for their own stories within Toca Boca World.
“Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters is a global cultural phenomenon, bringing together music, fashion and beloved characters in a way that has clearly resonated with our players,” said Marc De Vellis, Spin Master’s President, Digital Games. “We were already seeing the Toca Boca community draw inspiration from the film in their stories within Toca Boca World, so this collaboration felt incredibly natural. It gives our players access to authentic and exclusive KPop Demon Hunters content, with even more ways to create, play, tell stories and express themselves in a world they love.”
The Toca Boca World x Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters collaboration launches 27 October.
