Ahead of Anti-Bullying Week, Mattel’s Monster High partners with the alliance on the Power for Good campaign
Ahead of Anti-Bullying Week, Mattel continues to partner with the Anti-Bullying Alliance (ABA) with its Monster High brand to champion acceptance, inclusion, and kindness through the Power for Good campaign.
This year’s partnership celebrates the Power for Good, encouraging children to recognise their individual strengths and use them to stand up for others, celebrate difference, and champion kindness. As part of the campaign, Mattel will also donate £25,000 to the Anti-Bullying Alliance to support its vital work in preventing bullying and promoting inclusion across the UK.
“At Mattel, we believe that every child has the power to make positive change – to be kind, to stand up for themselves and others, and to celebrate what makes them unique,” said Kelly Philp, Mattel UK’s Senior Marketing Director. “Through Mattel’s partnership with the Anti-Bullying Alliance and our collaboration with Very, we hope to inspire children to embrace their ‘Power for Good’ and spread kindness in their schools and communities.”
To mark the occasion, Mattel has also partnered with Very UK, the digital retailer operated by The Very Group, to distribute exclusive Monster High branded friendship bracelets with every Monster High doll purchase made through the Very website during Anti-Bullying Week.
Martha Boetang, Director of the Anti-Bullying Alliance, added: “Anti-Bullying Week is all about empowering children to recognise that their voices and actions matter. We’re proud to continue our partnership with Mattel to share this vital message and to help children across the UK to use their power for good to create kinder, safer environments for everyone.”
Mattel’s global Monster High Project Belonging initiative continues to inspire kids to celebrate what makes them unique and to foster a sense of belonging for all. This year’s campaign reinforces that every child has the power to make a difference.
