With exhibitor registration closing this month, organisers of the Nuremberg Toy Fair have unveiled new categories, expanded permanent showrooms and more for 2026
Preparations for Nuremberg Toy Fair 2026 are in full swing, with new product categories, special zones, and expanded permanent showrooms already confirmed for February.
From 2-6 February 2027, exhibitors and trade visitors can expect high-visibility special zones, an optimal, enhanced hall structure, and ‘cross-product-group synergies’ across the halls. Interested companies can still apply to exhibit until the end of July.
Formats first introduced in 2026 will return, including the Meetingspaces for confidential customer talks, the Toy Community Meet Up and numerous exhibitor activities. Established formats such as ToyTrends, Kidults, the New Product Gallery and the Toy Business Forum will also be part of the event, as will the LicenseLounge and the coveted ToyAward.
New for 2027 is the 14th product group, Manufacturing Services, located in Halls 11.0 and 11.1 together with the Multi-Product Group. The new segment focuses on the manufacturing and production of goods and the associated processes. From product design and prototyping to raw materials and production, toy manufacturers will find OEM, ODM and OBM partners, as well as suppliers for their product development.
Organisers have also secured a new three-year contract period for the permanent stands in Hall 12.2. Major players including Lego, Zuru, and MGA Zapf Creation have confirmed they will expand their permanent stands, while new entrants, including Asmodee and Spanish company TigerHead Toys will launch their showrooms in 2027.
