Spin Master names new Digital Games chief 

Marc De Vellis is appointed Executive Vice President and President of Spin Master’s Digital Games Creative Centre

Spin Master has promoted Marc De Vellis Executive Vice President and President of its Digital Games and Creative Centre.

Marc previously served for three years as Global Head of Studios, Digital Games where he is credited with playing a “pivotal role” in defining the division’s goals and success.

“Marc has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s digital games strategy, elevating our creative execution and overall player experience,” said Spin Master CEO Christina Miller. “His deep industry expertise and passion for play will further our vision to spark moments of connection and imagination through playful, inclusive experiences for kids globally.”

In his new post, Marc will oversee all aspects of the toymaker’s digital game brands, including Toca Boca and PikNik, which draws an audience of 58 million players. 

Marc said: “I look forward to building on the strong foundation of creativity and trust we’ve established with the millions of kids that engage with Toca Boca and PikNik. Together, with our studio teams, we are delivering meaningful digital experiences and fostering the next generation of creators, thinkers, and storytellers.”

In a LinkedIn post he added: “For me, it’s so much more than just making games. It’s such a deep passion for creating experiences that foster the next generation of play for kids around the world.”
