The Lego Group has announced the appointment of Vincent Warnery to the LEGO A/S board of directors.

Vincent is the CEO of Beiersdorf AG, a global beauty and personal care company which owns brands such as Nivea, Eucerin, and La Prairie. He has more than 35 years of operational experience in the consumer goods sector and has held senior leadership roles at Procter & Gamble, Sanofi, and L’Oréal where he has built globally recognised brands and led transformational change driven by digitalisation and sustainability.

Thomas Kirk Kristiansen, Chair of the Lego A/S Board of Directors, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming Vincent Warnery as a Member of the Board. As a CEO, Vincent brings operational experience and a strong understanding of how to create long-term brand value within family-owned businesses. This will be extremely valuable as we continue to build the Lego brand for future generations.”

In connection to the Lego A/S Board’s annual general assembly, Fiona Dawson and Ilkka Paananen have decided to step down.

“We are very grateful for Fiona and Ilkka’s contributions during their time on the Lego A/S Board,” added Thomas. “Fiona joined in 2020 and in that time has played a valuable role as we grew the business and made progress across strategic priorities such as sustainability and digital. Ilkka has been part of the Board since 2024, bringing his extensive experience in gaming and consumer insights. I would like to sincerely thank Fiona and Ilkka for their service and wish them both all the very best for the future.”

Following the changes, the board will consist of seven members, including five independent, non-executive directors.
