Acamar’s hit preschool property comes to My First Crinkly Newspapers and Crinkly Comics, with strong early response at retail
Two editions each of Nursery Times My First Crinkly Newspaper and My First CrinklyComic, featuring Acamar’s hit preschool property Bing are now available at retail.
The new titles bring Bing’s familiar world to life through engaging sensory formats,introducing young children to first words, concepts, everyday experiences andfamiliar stories. The Nursery Times newspapers are based on the popular Bingepisodes Frog and Smoothie, while the Crinkly Comics feature Bing: At Home andBing: Matching Colours.
The award-winning Crinkly newspapers and comics concept, honoured for the sixthyear in a row at this year’s Junior Design Awards, is the creation of designers JoJoof and Nicola Moore, who said: “Bing is an ideal choice for the first-ever licensedcharacter to inspire the Nursery Times crinkly titles. It’s a property with childdevelopment at its heart and an enormous visual appeal, both of which are central tothe ideals of our publications.”
Rocket Licensing, which manages the Bing licensing programme in the UK andIreland, says the new titles have already received a positive response fromconsumers.

The innovative formats launched in late September 2026 and are available throughWaterstones, independent bookshops, toy shops, baby boutiques, gift shops, babyplay cafés, museums, galleries and zoos, as well as a range of online retailers.
The launch has been further supported by the appointment of Bounce Sales andMarketing to distribute the range in the UK and internationally.
