DNC says the appointment reflects a deliberate investment in operational leadership, enabling founder and Managing Director Andrew O’Neill to focus on the company’s longer-term strategic priorities.

“Jacqueline joins DNC with significant senior-leadership experience in the closely related toy sector, bringing particular strengths across commercial, licensing, operational and team leadership,” Andrew said. “We are delighted that she has joined and have her on board.”

Jacqueline is the first female chair of the toy industry’s Fence Club, and most recently served as GM UK and Ireland, Jumbo Group. She has held senior leadership positions at global toy brands, including Melissa and Doug, and Spin Master.

Speaking of her new appointment, she said: “The team at DNC-UK have built something really strong and I’m honoured to join them at this pivotal time. My focus will be on building on their solid foundation. We will grow and expand the portfolio, focussing on the consumer and trends within the categories, with the same care and craft that got us here.”

Founded in 1999, DNC UK Ltd designs and markets licensed housewares across a portfolio of owned brands including Polar Gear, together with a portfolio of world-leading entertainment and character licences.
