Barbie: Dreamscape is a young adult novel from Mattel Press, the toy company’s publishing arm, and hits shelves worldwide this August
Mattel has announced the very first original Barbie novel, aimed at the young adult market and launching this August.
Barbie: Dreamscape is a new original Barbie novel set in a magical dreamworld. It’s written by #1 New York Times Bestselling author Alex Aster, and will be available across 237 countries and territories worldwide this August. Publication date in the UK is 20 August, where it will be published by Penguin Random House UK.
From Mattel Press, the company’s own publishing platform, Barbie: Dreamscape is a coming-of-age story about teenaged Barbie, whose perfectly planned future is shattered when she is declared Fateless at her enchanted school’s graduation.
