The new product range, launching in S/S27, brings together two beloved creativity brands to reimagine how children build, draw, colour and create
Plus-Plus has announced a new licensing collaboration with Crayola, bringing together two beloved creativity brands to reimagine how children build, draw, colour and create.
Together, Plus-Plus and Crayola have developed a new range of products that blends Crayola’s iconic colour expertise with the versatile building system of Plus-Plus, creating new opportunities for children to explore creativity through both artistic expression and hands-on construction. The Plus-Plus x Crayola collection will launch globallyspring/summer 2027.
“Crayola and Plus-Plus are both brands that encourage children to express themselves through creativity and colour, so this collaboration felt like a very natural fit,” says Martin Pihl, CEO, Plus-Plus. “We wanted to create products that genuinely combine the strengths of both brands rather than simply putting two logos on a pack. The result is a collection that invites children to build, draw, imagine and create in new ways.”
The collection includes three products:
Crayon Tubes, featuring 100 Plus-Plus pieces and a Crayola crayon, with a special cap that turns the tube into one giant crayon; Creativity Case, combining 500 Plus-Plus pieces, baseplates and Crayola crayons for a creative experience that blends building, drawing and colouring; and Colourful Critters Blind Bags, offering seven colourful characters to build and collect, including a rare glow-in-the-dark critter.
The collaboration marks another step in Plus-Plus’ growing licensing strategy, bringing globally recognised brands into the Plus-Plus universe while maintaining the open-ended play experience that defines the Danish toy brand.
“Crayola and Plus-Plus share a belief that creative play should be engaging, accessible and open-ended,” said Rob Spindley, Licensing Director – International at Crayola. “This collaboration brings together the strengths of both brands in a way that encourages children to move seamlessly between building, colouring and imaginative exploration, unlocking even more opportunities for creative expression.”
