The release is the third jointly crafted board game with Lego and is designed to bring families together
Asmodee and The Lego Group are bringing family games night to a whole new level with the launch of Lego Ninjago Destiny’s Bounty Adventures.
Now available, the board game is designed to bring families together with kids aged eight plus and lets two to four players team up as ninjas to go on adventures facing serpents, pirates and even a bewildered postman.
Roger Martin, Marketing Director at Asmodee, said: “Adventure and teamwork are the anchor to our latest Lego Ninjago collaboration making it everything that we love about family gaming. Players can immerse themselves into the world of Lego Ninjago including playing as the much-loved Nya. The launch is the ideal celebration to mark fifteen years of Lego Ninjago and is the must have game to play this summer holidays.”
Players go full ninja as Kai, Nya, Cole or Zane to defend the Destiny’s Bounty ship from an invasion of Ninjago villains, scheming to activate their evil masterplan. To defeat the villains, players must unlock their ninja potential, upgrade their skills and work together with fellow ninja players using their unique abilities to thwart the villains’ plans.
The game is a must-have for Ninjago fans and minifigure collectors as it includes an exclusive Nya Lego minifigure, unique to Lego Ninjago Destiny’s Bounty Adventures and unavailable anywhere else.
The new board game is designed by Dotted Games, an Asmodee studio dedicated to making board games in collaboration with The Lego Group. It’s the third jointly crafted board game and comes off the back of the 15th anniversary celebrations for Lego Ninjago.
Lego Ninjago Destiny’s Bounty Adventures follows The Lego Group and Asmodee’s successful launches of the family party game Brick Like This! and the family strategy game Monkey Palace.
