Amy Harbour, Head of Licensing and Commercial Partnerships, the Science Museum Group, shares more about the new sensory toy launches in the July issue of TnP
In the July issue of Toys n Playthings, Amy Harbour, Head of Licensing and Commercial Partnerships at the Science Museum Group, shares a personal account of what makesworking for the Science Museum special, how that is translated into the group’s award-winning licensed products, and the importance of giving families the opportunity to bring a little part of the museum experience into their homes.
“It’s a real honour to work at the Science Museum, and that sense of pride underpins everything I do, especially when it comes to Science Museum products developed through our brand licensing programme,” she says. “Our aim is simple: to bring the magic of the Science Museum into people’s homes. Every toy, kit and activity we develop is designed to capture that unique combination of fun and learning that defines the museum experience.”
The cover story also explores two brand-new launches in the hit Material Science range, developed with Funtime.
“This month we’re launching two brand new products: Wriggle Worms and Candy Cloud Compound,” Amy adds. “These additions bring fresh textures and new sensory experiences, while still staying true to the educational foundations of the range.”
