Lego Bluey Shorts, a 10 x 2-minute short-form series, has launched on online platforms
Fan-favourite moments from Bluey have been recreated in animated Lego brick form for a new YouTube series.
BBC Studios and Lego Entertainment have partnered to bring 10 iconic moments from the animated series to life in new bite-sized animated Lego brick form.
Lego Bluey Shorts, the 10 x 2-minute short-form series, launched yesterday on the official Bluey channel, the official Lego channel and the Lego Little Ones channel on YouTube, as well as Bluey.TV. New episodes will release weekly in 12 languages.
Jasmine Dawson, Senior Vice President, Digital, BBC Studios, says: “Two fandoms, built for play. This short-form series recreates favourite scenes brick by brick, keeping all the humour, heart and joyful chaos that audiences know and love. Bringing Bluey together with Legocelebrates the themes at the core of both brands, giving these iconic moments a fresh, playful spin that’s as fun to watch as it is to build.”
Families can enjoy seeing Bluey and Bingo’s favourite games recreated in Lego brick form, including Queens, Magic Xylophone and Musical Statues, before blasting off into outer space in Sleepytime and chasing seagulls in The Beach.
Jill Wilfert, SVP of Entertainment Partners & Content, Lego Group, added: “We are thrilled to bring the beloved world of Bluey to life through our playful Lego Bluey Shorts series. This collaboration with BBC Studios allows us to celebrate the creativity and storytelling that both the Lego brand and Bluey are known for. By reimagining iconic moments from Bluey in the classic Lego style, we offer families a new and engaging way to connect with Bluey’s adventures, fostering creativity and fun for fans of all ages.”
