John is appointed Regional Managing Director, Consumer Products, EMEA after nearly 20 years at Universal Pictures Home Entertainment
Universal Products & Experiences has appointed John Revill as Regional Managing Director, Consumer Products – EMEA.
John joined the company today, 1 October, and will report directly to Rafa Macias, Global CPG Commercial Officer, Universal Products & Experiences.
He transitions to his new role following nearly two decades of leadership at Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, where he led central teams, local operating companies, and strategic partners across multiple international markets. Most recently, he oversaw the transformation of the international physical home entertainment business, shifting from direct distribution to a fully licensed model.

UP&E’s current head of EMEA, Jay Visconti will be leaving the organisation at the end of October to pursue a new opportunity in his home country of Italy.
Aligned to UP&E’s broader commitment to expanding its consumer products business through innovation, strategic partnership and immersive retail, John will be responsible for driving long-term commercial growth across both direct and agent-managed markets in the EMEA region.
