Moose Toys announces US leadership changes

Long-serving executive Jeff Hurst will retire this month, with Chedney Rogers promoted to EVP, US Sales and Marketing

Moose Toys has announced a leadership change to its North American business, as long-time executive Jeff Hurst steps into retirement this week.

Credited as a pivotal player in building the Australian toy brand’s North American business, Jeff will officially retire at the end of March.

The departure will see Chedney Rogers promoted to EVP, US Sales and Marketing, overseeing the US sales and marketing functions. She joined the company in 2022 as SVP, Global and US Marketing, and previously held leadership positions at Hasbro and Mattel. Steve Arkeveld, Moose’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Jeff has played an important role in shaping our US business and will leave Moose with our thanks and respect. As we look ahead, appointing Chedney is an exciting step – she’s a proven leader with the commercial strength and energy to drive the next phase of growth in the US.”

Chedney added: “I’m incredibly excited to step into this role and build on the strong foundation Jeff has created. Bringing sales and marketing together creates a powerful opportunity, and I’m looking forward to working with our teams and retail partners to shape what’s next for Moose in the US.”
