An impressive 5-ft rubber duck draws crowds at the new permanent retail space, featuring licensed collectibles in all Tubbz formats
Tubbz cosplaying rubber duck collectibles have landed at Hamleys’ flagship Regent Street store, with a new permanent ‘Tubbz Zone’.
The dedicated retail space – the biggest Tubbz retail display to date – is located in the basement alongside other leading collectible brands. Marked by a show-stopping giant rubber duck, visitors will find their favourite characters from the world of pop culture reimagined as cosplaying ducks in all Tubbz formats.
Licenses include Minions, Minecraft, Wicked, Anime, Shrek, Jurassic Park, DC Comics, Sonic the Hedgehog, Five Nights at Freddy’s. The brand sold 5 million units last year and says it is on track to double that in 2026.
Jack Fox, Director of Sales and Marketing at Rubber Road, said: “Today is a truly great day! We pride ourselves on the quality and detail of Tubbz characters that sets us apart from other collectibles. This has given us fierce belief and ambition in the Tubbz brand with a mission to become a leading player in the world of collectibles.
“To see these quirky ducks in all their glory in this stunning, bespoke display in the most famous toy store in the world seals the deal…mission accomplished. We would like to thank Hamleys for believing in our vision and taking the plunge to join us on our brand journey. Tubbz always raises a smile and we are definitely smiling today. We hope these fun-filled cosplaying ducks bring joy to all visitors of Hamleys Regent Street.”
The Tubbz Zone hosts an impressive five-foot King’s Guard Tubbz duck, a bespoke display unique to Hamleys that pays homage to the capital’s iconic guardsmen.
Victoria Kay, Head of Buying and Merchandising at Hamleys, said: “We love all the work and innovation that goes into expanding this fun and madcap range of collectible ducks in the Tubbz series. We see everything from heroes and villains, iconic TV and Movie characters to the latest giant lines which are really popular. We are excited for the new Kings Guard range – both cute and striking. They will go down really well.”
