Comic Con success fuels major marketing push for Relatable Games

Character Options’ dedicated Relatable Games Lounge at London Comic Con drew hundreds of families and game fans over the weekend

Character Options is building momentum behind its Relatable Games portfolio following a successful London Comic Con showcase, supported by extensive influencer activity, digital content and media investment.

The dedicated Relatable Games Lounge was a must-visit at London Comic Con this weekend, welcoming hundreds of families and gaming fans to experience both new and established titles. Invited influencers also visited the lounge and shared content across their platforms, extending the excitement and engagement beyond the show.

Highlights included the new Hunt-A-Killer range, which brings immersive mystery-solving experiences to the games category. Alongside family favourites and adult party games, the showcase demonstrated the breadth and appeal of the Relatable Games collection.

Mark Hunt, Marketing Director at Character Options, said: “The response to our Relatable Games range at London Comic Con was fantastic. Seeing hundreds of visitors of all ages playing, engaging and having fun demonstrated the collection’s broad appeal.

“It’s exactly the kind of engagement we want to create around the brand, and we’re excited to build on that momentum through the remainder of the year,” he added. “With a significant media and Meta advertising programme further boosting awareness, driving consumer engagement and directing traffic to retail partners, we’re confident the range is well positioned for a strong festive season.”

The Comic Con success forms part of a wider campaign featuring influencer partnerships, social content and media support designed to keep the Relatable Games range front of mind with consumers.

A dedicated influencer campaign is also promoting Hunt A Killer ahead of Halloween, while games night content featuring Starts With Ends With, Kollide and Colour Stack aims to inspire families and friends to spend more time playing together. The adult games portfolio is also receiving targeted creator support, particularly for What Do You Meme?: Here for the Comments, a title that taps into current social trends and humour.

Following the successful showcase and extensive marketing campaign, Character Options expects Relatable Games to maintain strong momentum through the festive season and into 2027, with new titles planned for spring.
