An adult-size Bluey Grannies Car Coupe pop-up marked the opening of Bluey the Ride: Here Come The Grannies! at CBeebies Land

Little Tikes marked the opening of a new Bluey ride at Alton Towers with a custom adult-size Bluey Grannies Car Coupe pop-up over the weekend.

Alton Towers Resort officially launched the new Bluey the Ride: Here Come The Grannies! in collaboration with BBC Studios at the resort’s family favourite CBeebies Land. Families attending the grand opening were able to get behind the wheel of the specially designed adult-sized Coupe for a Bluey-inspired photo opportunity.

Mayur Pattni, Head of Marketing at MGA Entertainment said: “This weekend’s activity reflects our continued strategic partnership with BBC Studios as we continue to evolve how families experience and are introduced to the Little Tikes brand. Bluey has a highly aligned audience for Little Tikes and this weekend’s in person activity allowed us to create those first handshake connections in a unique and memorable format between brand and consumer that can last a generation.”

The Little Tikes Bluey Grannies Car Coupe is inspired by the Bluey episode Grannies, from season one, making it the perfect addition to the grannies-themed mischief offered by the new Bluey the Ride: Here Come The Grannies! The attraction takes guests through Bluey’s backyard, whisking them over gentle dips, around turns, and through colourful trees, flowers, and playful surprises.
