Entries for the Toy Industries of Europe’s seventh Play for Change Awards are open until 1 July
Submissions are now open for the Play for Change Awards 2026, with toymakers of all sizes invited to enter products or initiatives launched on the European market between 1 January 2025 and 30 April 2026.
The Play for Change Awards celebrate toymakers who deliver real, positive change for society and the planet. Now on their seventh edition, the awards recognise meaningful innovation, purposeful design, and products that go beyond entertainment to shape a better future.
Submissions are open until 1 July 2026 and more information on how to enter is available on playforchangeawards.eu.
The awards shine a spotlight on real-world positive impact — beyond company size or market share. Whether an established brand or an emerging innovator, all participants have the opportunity to gain international recognition for work that truly makes a difference.
The Awards recognise excellence in three categories:
Sustainability: Honouring efforts to reduce environmental impact, from eco-friendly materials to sustainable processes, or initiatives that inspire children to become stewards of the planet.
Life Skills: Celebrating toys and initiatives that equip children with essential skills for the 21st century, such as emotional resilience, critical thinking, or coding.
Diversity and Inclusion: Recognising toys and initiatives that foster inclusion and representation across gender, race, status, religion, and ability, creating an inclusive play environment where every child feels seen and valued.
Besides the recognition from peers, winners will receive an official Play for Change winnerslogo for use on packaging and promotional materials, alongside a Play for Change trophy and stickers to showcase at trade fairs and events. Winners will also receive promotion across the Play for Change Awards’ channels.
Winners will be revealed at the Play for Change Awards ceremony in Brussels on 24 November 2026.
