Former Unilever and Coca-Cola exec Shelley Macintyre will oversee licensing extensions for brands including Bluey, Doctor Who and Top Gear
BBC Studios has named Shelley Macintyre CEO of Brands and Licensing, responsible for building and expanding globally renowned brands including Bluey, Doctor Who and Top Gear.
Shelley has been serving in the role on an interim basis, and will continue to oversee digital growth activities alongside innovative licensing models across consumer products, gaming, live events, publishing, music and more.

Her strategic vision, commercial acumen and deep understanding of how to build global brands make her the ideal person to lead this important part of BBC Studios into its next phase of growth. Before joining BBC Studios, Shelley held senior leadership roles across both large corporates and high-growth scale-ups, and was recently named one of Marketing Week’s Top 100 Marketers of 2025. She has spent around 18 years in senior positions at Unilever, The Coca-Cola Company and Suntory Global Spirits, helping to shape some of the world’s most recognised consumer brands.
