The Toy Trust has announced an exciting new charity partnership with Kids Inspire, a charity committed to supporting children’s mental health and helping young people recover from trauma. Through MEGA Midsummer Mayhem, the toy industry has an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by organising and taking part in fundraising activities, where proceeds will go to Kids Inspire.
MEGA Midsummer Mayhem is the Toy Trust’s summer fundraising campaign for 2025, building on the success of 2024’s Midsummer Mayhem. This initiative invites the toy industry to engage in a range of fundraising activities to support Kids Inspire. The toy industry can choose their fundraising methods from physical endeavours to creative events. Participants can apply to take on exciting challenges such as the Tough Mudder, inflatable assault courses and half marathons. The toy industry is also encouraged to get creative and organise their own fundraising events.
This year, Kids Inspire is the charity partner for MEGA Midsummer Mayhem. Kids Inspire is a children’s mental health charity dedicated to providing free specialist trauma support to children and families who couldn’t otherwise afford it. Last year a total of 4,532 children and their families received support with trauma informed therapy tailored to the unique mental health needs of every young person they worked with. The Toy Trust has pledged to donate £50,000 to Kids Inspire, to enable them to provide recovery plans and access to essential resources to many families and help them thrive.
