Spin Master is partnering with Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Movies on the new theatrical release, coming in 2029
Spin Master has confirmed that a fourth Paw Patrol feature film is in the works.
Cal Brunker (Paw Patrol: The Movie, Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie, Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie, and The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature) returns to direct the latest instalment, and serves as co-writer for the film alongside Bob Barlen.
“Watching the way audiences have connected with the Paw movies has been incredible,” he said. “We’ve written a new story that we think audiences are going to love, and we can’t wait to share it with the world.”
Paw Patrol’s first three theatrical films became family favourites, grossing a combined half-billion dollars at the global box office. The fourth film from Spin Master Entertainment, Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Movies, is set to be distributed by Paramount Pictures in 2029. It is a Spin Master Entertainment production.
Vishnu Athreya, EVP & President of Spin Master Entertainment, said: “Paw Patrol is a global entertainment phenomenon, and we’re investing in the franchise to give fans more of what they love. Looking to the future, we want to further expand the Paw Patrol universe through movies, series, specials, short-form video, and connected play to bring joy to the next generation of kids wherever they are. There are endless storytelling possibilities – this is just the beginning.”
Jennifer Dodge, President of Paramount Animation, added: “Paw Patrol has a special place in the hearts of families around the world, and we’re thrilled to continue the pups’ journey on the big screen. Together, with our partners at Spin Master, we’re excited to bring audiences another adventure that’s made for the theatrical experience.”
