The shiny 2024 TnP issue is here, landing on desks everywhere as we speak (you may have already received your copy in the post earlier this week), and there’s a good taste of what’s to see, what’s to come, and you saw it here first!
As the longest running toy trade title, and now in our 43rd year, we bring you the best of the highlights.
Dig in, for a great mix of London Toy Fair, Nuremberg, and Spring Fair and see the best show releases whilst you still have time to plan before hitting the shows!
The toy industry never fails with new companies coming through, big launches and key exhibitor interviews with leading and best brands on display, including in depth interviews, notably MV Sports’ Phil Ratcliffe, not to mention Epoch’s Phil Hooper. And a double whopper of a big exclusive with hmv owner Doug Putman (what a guy), whose portfolio includes UK distributor DKB and the Canadian arm of Toys “R” Us.
At the heart of TnP are our retail readers, and we talk with Nick Arran, MD of Game. He fills us in with some really unique approaches in this lucrative market. We also meet with Alan Wright of John Lewis, and he talks about his aim to make more toys available in more shops across the John Lewis and Waitrose brands.
We also talk to Independent retailer duo of Will’s Toy Shop about engaging more experiences for children and special events within their store, and the importance of special deals and promotions, amongst other key issues.
So. Enjoy. And see you at the shows. Don’t forget to pop by our stand, – E1 at the main entrance.
