The Mystery Agency launches The Robber’s Grave, its much-anticipated new escape room game, this next month. The latest unsolved case has been created by Henry Lewis, award-winning playwright and performer (The Play That Goes Wrong and soon to star in Disney/Marvel TV’s VisionQuest). This gothic investigation takes players on an atmospheric adventure to uncover the fate of gold bullion stolen from the Bank of England in the 1890s, by making sense of eerie clues that resurface in the 1980s.
The Mystery Agency produces “escape rooms in a box” to create an enthralling and entertaining night in. Each game contains beautifully designed and detailed documents and artefacts with an authentic look and feel. Players must solve a challenging sequence of puzzles, clues and hidden websites in order to uncover the central mystery.
Rob Trup, General Mystery Manager, comments: told Toys n Playthings: “We gave retailers a first look at The Robber’s Grave at Toy Fair in January and the response was phenomenal. The Mystery Agency games have already developed a cult following, and we know both existing and new players will love digging up clues around this mysterious cemetery.”
