The plaudits for Star Wars: Unlimited include Game of the Year and Set of the Year
Star Wars: Unlimited, the trading card game from Asmodee’s Fantasy Flight Games, has won four awards at the inaugural TCG Awards gala at Spiel Essen, including Game of the Year.
Star Wars: Unlimited received awards including Game of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, Set of the Year for Star Wars: Unlimited – A Lawless Time, and Event of the Year for The Galactic Championships held in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Celebrating creativity, community and achievement across the trading card game industry, the TCG Awards combine community voting and expert jury recognition across categories covering games, artwork, events and the people behind them.
Jim Cartwright, Co-Head of Studio at Fantasy Flight Games, said: “Winning four awards at the TCG Awards is a fantastic moment for everyone working on Star Wars: Unlimited. First and foremost, I want to thank the players for their passion. They are at the heart of the game’s success and the reason why we can celebrate today. These awards also reflect the creativity and dedication of our teams at FFG as well as across all asmodee teams, and our partners. I’m grateful to everyone who has been with us from the beginning and as we continue growing.”
