BLE Event Director Ella Haynes shares what’s unmissable for visitors from the toy industry, how kidult is shaping licensing, and more
In the September issue of TnP, we spoke to Brand Licensing Europe’s Event Director Ella Haynes to learn why the toy industry should be interested in this year’s licensing show case.
“BLE 2025 was a fantastic event for us. There was a real sense of energy across the show, and we achieved our biggest ever attendee numbers from France, Germany, Italy and Spain. Naturally we want to build on that this October,” she said. “Success isn’t just about getting more people through the doors, of course, it’s about making sure the right quality of people are there; that they’re having productive conversations and leave feeling the time they invested in BLE will make a genuine difference to their business and their own professional development.”
“For the toy industry especially, some of the most interesting opportunities may not come from the obvious ‘toy’ conversations. A sports property, a museum brand, a video game or a food brand might be the starting point for the next collectible, construction range, plush line or family product. BLE creates the environment for those different worlds to meet.”
