Star Wars: Unlimited Icons was unveiled at UK Games Expo and is designed as an entry point for beginners and returning fans of the hit TCG
Asmodee unveiled Star Wars: Unlimited Icons during a successful UK Games Expo appearance this weekend.
The new mini-set is designed as a more accessible entry point to the TCG for first-time and returning players, while still bringing exciting new cards and fan-favourite characters for seasoned gamers.
Going strong for over two years, Star Wars: Unlimited is getting bigger and better, with Icons stepping in as the fourth release in the game’s annual cycle following A Lawless Time, released in March, and ahead of Ashes of the Empire, scheduled for July 2026.
Roger Martin, Marketing Director at Asmodee, said: “We’re thrilled to reveal Icons at this year’s UK Games Expo. Star Wars: Unlimited is at its best when you’re sat around a table and getting straight into gameplay. But if you’re brand new or coming back after a break, it can be a little tricky knowing where to start – and that’s where Icons breaks down that barrier. We can’t wait for fans, both old and new, to get their hands on the set and show the community what they’re made of.”
Star Wars: Unlimited Icons makes the experience for newcomers or players returning after a break simpler, with a streamlined 194-card mini-set – compared to 250-plus cards in a standard version – and a focus on instantly recognisable characters and accessible gameplay.
The mini-set combines familiar favourites with new chase cards, especially rares and legendaries, including Darth Sidious, Lando Calrissian, and the Millennium Falcon. Icons will also introduce a brand-new legendary Anakin Skywalker card.
